Sweather Weather Tag was all rage a few years back and admittedly, I only liked it because sweather weather is just such a poetic way of calling autumn. This year’s version is Fall Favorites Tag so I’d thought I’d mash these two together, add my own spin and share my autumnal picks with you together as long as it doesn’t get all freezing outside. I know, it seems a bit late but let’s not forget winter only officially starts on Dec 21st and as I will be doing yearly favourites instead December’s, let’s just put like the favourites for the season.
Favorite candle scent? Diptyque John Galliano (Feu de Bois would be similar). It’s woody, bit leathery and I’m bewitched.
Best fragrance for fall? Diptyque Tam Dao. Or any sandalwood fragrance for that matter.
Must-have nail polish this fall? Butter London It’s Vintage. The more burned orange cousin of Givenchy Rouge Acajou.
Favourite lip colour? Mac Hearts Aflame. Or Mac Chili to match It’s Vintage.
Favourite blush? Nars Douceur.
Dark lips or winged eyeliner? Chanel Rouge Noir. Although, that’s an eyeliner these days, too.
Most worn sweater? I wear formal wear most days but I love a soft black turtleneck to wear casually.
Autumn uniform? All black. Cashmere turtleneck, skinny jeans, oversized coat and ankle boots.
Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate? I love the idea of cinnamon almond milk hot chocolate but otherwise I’ll take my coffee black and strong.
Is pumpkin spice worth the hype? Sugar and dairy is never worth the hype unless someone made it with almond milk, I would be all over that. Double espresso and cinnamon please.
Favorite Thanksgiving food? I don’t do Thanksgiving but I reckon you could make a paleo pecan pie.
What’s the best fall memory you have? Photographing my friend in leaf piles and an all-black ensemble.
Football games or jumping in leaf piles? See above.
What is autumn weather like where you live? Dreamy bar the wind. British weather.
Favourite fall TV show? The Good Wife. Need I mention why?
Favourite fall movie? First Monday In October. Jill Clayburgh and Walter Matthau are like Diane Lockhart and Kurt McVeigh with their political views reversed.
What song really gets you into the fall spirit? Good Night, and Good Luck. OST
Favourite Halloween costume? I am Morticia Addams at heart.
C’est fin! Do you love autumn/winter? What are your must-haves for the seasons?
